Northern Norway in Winter
Well, these are mostly (read: entirely) digital. Not that I had no film camera with me. It’s just that it turns out it’s really hard to get your photos back when DPD loses them in transport and later refuses to acknowledge they actually did pick them up. If I sound bitter about it, it’s because I still am. History will now never know if the photos of the northern lights I took on film ever came out. Other than that, I had a Sony A7CII with a couple of manual Canon FD lenses, and a Fuji X-T20 with the same lenses and a Samyang 12mm ultra wide.
We drove from Tromsø up north to Alta, and then back, stopping in a few places along the way, trying to catch the northern lights. We got lucky enough to see some, though fate is fickle, and the best show we got was on the plane back home. Still counts!
